STUDYING CAN BE expensive. It is essential to be aware of how much your course will cost you, and what help you are entitled to, before you enrol.
Students will incur a variety of expenses as many students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level are required to pay for part, or all, of their tuition fees. You will also need to cover your day-to-day living expenses.
Various sources of help may be available, including access funds, benefits, grants, loans from different sources and part-time or vacation work.
International Students may also be eligible for a number of scholarships.
As a result of funding changes instigated by the Higher Education Act 2004, different arrangements apply to students starting a higher education course in 2005/06 and those starting in 2006/07 .
This section includes full details of how these changes will affect students starting a higher education course in either 2005 or 2006.
