National Qualifications Framework (NQF)

THE NATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK (NQF) has been replaced by the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) announced in November 2008 following a two year trial.

The NQF was revised following public consultation completed in November 2003. A Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) was also developed and the following table shows how these frameworks relate to one another:
